Note from Moriah Kane - The ALS Association

Hello RMSS members

I wanted to write you all a note on behalf of the ALS Association to say THANK YOU for all the donations you made in Duane’s honor. While it started with $500, the total after additional donations were collected was $1,667! We will be able to put these donations to great use to further support the local programs offered to our MN/ND/SD families living with ALS. If you are curious as to what specific programs we provide, please feel free to visit our website.

If you need a letter documenting proof of your donation, please let me know and we can get that to you. Also, for those of you who may not have seen the clip on the 6 o’clock news, I have attached that as well.

Again, thank you so much for your support of The ALS Association and our mission. I had a great time getting to meet you, learn about Duane and his impeccable throwing abilities, and eat a delicious lunch! It isn’t hard to see why Duane spent so many years playing in your league.

-Moriah

A note from Dewey - 22-Sep-2022

To all In RMSS,

Regarding the recognition being associated with your generous gift to the ALS org., it is humbly appreciated.

This brings back many fond memories associated with this league and all of its members.

As manager, I had a goal to draft all  league members to a team at least once

and while that fell just short, I do consider that I came to know and appreciate everyone.

I am proud to have been a part of RMSS, for you are friends that not only love sports as I do,

but are honorable, social, competitive, and just fun to have been with!

With sincere thanks,

I love you guys!
