November 2025—RMSS Board Meeting Minutes


The meeting was called to order at 12:00 p.m. on November 19, 2025, by League Coordinator Randy Stocker.

October Minutes Reviewed and Approved.


Treasurers Report by Ernie H.

Checking account balance $5,124.41.

Designated Fund balance $941.11.

Season Budget for 2026 Presented.

Park & Recreation Department raised player fee and field expenses slightly.

Fee paid by each player will be $50. Early sign up rate $40. Each session fee $15. Players 80 years old or older are Free.

Budget includes purchases of new bats, balls, 2 sets of team jerseys, as well as other league operations like 2 bigger picnics and 1 or 2 smaller ones.Velcro tape to fix the pitching screens. 2026 Budget Approved.


Tech Report.  Transitioning from MoJoe K. to Joe K.  No foreseen issues.


Old Business: Discussed Player conduct and dress attire.  All players should wear team jerseys and hats. If you don't have one...wear close to team colors with non-offensive markings on shirt, hat, or other items.

Also discussed league board member liability.  The league or it's board members are only held accountable from game time and picnics in the pavilion.

Not for after game activities.

These guidelines were presented at the October meeting.  The by-law changes that were presented then were approved with a few language changes.


New Business: Salvation Army "Got to Bat" fundraiser.  You may drop off donations for S.A. on December 15,17, or on Friday the 19th when we will host Salvation Army Representatives at the dome for fun Christmas activities.


Dome Ball discussions: Draft for first of 4 sessions will be Wednesday 11/26.

Make sure players who want to play sign up.


We will also be hosting a two day tournament on January 8 & 9.  You are always welcome to help with this event whether you are playing or not.  At this point Bill G. is organizing this.  If you can help in any way...Greeting at door, directing players where to go, showing them around, snack and beverage sales, etc. Please talk to Bill for ways that you could help.
