BOARD MEETING

The meeting was called to order at 12:07 pm by League Coordinator Mike Ewen.

ROLL CALL

SECRETARY’S REPORT:  Report received.

TREASURER’S REPORT:Ernie Hain reported a balance of $7,015.41 in the RMSS checking account. There is $1,043.87 in the designated account and in the non-designated fund there is $3,061.53 . Report received.

SAFETY & RULES REPORT

Bill Sutter had nothing to report.

SPECIAL ASSISTANT REPORT

Ben Borgen showed us the new long sleeve shirts that he will be ordering. Long sleeves shirts will be $27 and crew neck sweatshirts $25. Dome tournament is scheduled and he has seven teams registered in the recreation league and three teams in the competitive league.

PUBLIC RELATIONS REPORT:

Chuck Brand had nothing to report.

WEBSITE REPORT:

Joe Koerner was absent.

OLD BUSINESS:

1. Jerseys/Boards/Player magnets-did not have a quorum so will address in January.

2. New hats-tabled until after we hear from Dewey Petersen's family.

3. Their was discussion on how to handle new merchandise ordered to sell. It was tabled to January due to not having a quorum.

4. Dome update-Jim Goodman reported that Bill Sutter and Bill Beaupre met with RCTC and fees will stay the same. Players who are over 80 will pay half price. Dome ball will start November 27. Salvation Army Go To Bat day will be December 22.

NEW BUSINESS:

1. Ernie Hain presented his proposed budget for 2024. It will get presented again at our January, 2024 meeting and voted on at that time.

2. No meeting in December.

3. Thanks was expressed to Mike Ewen for being League Coordinator the past two years.

4. Next meting is January 17.

Meeting adjourned at 1:35 pm.
